As many of you know and don’t know we are strong believers in our history of our Fire Department dating back to 1893. In March of 2011 the Tunxis Hose Membership voted to approve Money to get these beautiful plaques made up to honor our Past and Current Members of Tunxis Hose.
Every Member to ever sign our Constitution dating back to 1893 there names are on these plaques.
The Company also voted for a Chiefs Plaque to honor those who served at the highest position leading our Company.
The Plaques where unveiled after the 2011 Memorial Day parade. Past and Present members where invited down to see these pieces of History.
They will forever to hang on the walls at
Tunxis Hose Company #1.
