Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of Wethersfield Firefighter Robert “Sharky” Sharkevich and the Wethersfield Fire Department as they mourn the loss of “a devoted husband, father, grandfather and community volunteer”. Sharky passed as a result of injuries sustained while battling brush fires in Berlin, CT on October 22nd, 2024. Additional details are available here.
Tunxis Hose’s Engine 3 along with several other departments provided fire coverage for the Town of Wethersfield on October 27th so that their members could honor their fallen brother.
