7.9.15 - Carnival Opens Tonight! Come down for a great night of rides, games, food, and fun. Tonight is Family Night with all you can ride wrist bands sold at the ticket booth and live music. The weather looks to be holding off but come early to beat any rain later in the evening.

6.25.15 - ITS ALMOST CARNIVAL TIME! The Carnival will open on Thursday, July 9th with Family Night and the summer concert series featuring “Creedence/Fogerty Tribute Band”. The Fireworks will be Friday, July 10th (rain date July 11th) and the Parade will be on Saturday, July 11th. 6.25.15 - On May 10th we lost one of our members and past Chief Raymond “Rick” Bouchard, Sr. to cancer. For decades Rick worked tirelessly on our Carnival and gave so much of his time ensuring we provided a great and affordable experience to our citizens. For his 37 years of service, this year’s Carnival is being held in memory of Raymond “Rick” Bouchard (1948 – 2015) and I hope all in attendance will enjoy the Carnival that he dedicated himself to perfecting each year.
5.7.15 - This weekend is the annual Tunxis Hose Mother's Day Breakfast. What better way to show your mother how much she means to you than treating her to a fantastic breakfast! CLICK HERE for more information
4.14.15 - It's almost that time of the year again! The annual Tunxis Hose Company No. 1 Golf Classic is right around the corner. Get your foursome together and get out to the driving range to practice your swing. This years tournament will be held on June 13th at Farmington Woods. Player registrations are open and many sponsorship opportunities are available. CLICK HERE for more information on this years tournament.
3.17.15 - Tunxis Hose, in collaboration with the Avon Volunteer Fire Department and Farmington Woods will be hosting a wine tasting fundraiser on April 24, 2015. All proceeds will benefit the Life Fire Training Facility. CLICK HERE for more information
2.26.15 - Firefighters: 65 - Teachers: 78!
Firefighters from Tunxis Hose along with firefighters from Farmington Fire, East Farmington Fire, and the Town of Farmington put up quite a fight against the teachers of West District Upper Elementary in a fundraising basketball game this evening. Hosted by the Exchange Club of Farmington, $1000 was raised and presented to the Town of Farmington to be put towards the Live Fire Training Facility. Thank you to the members of The Exchange Club and to all the players and spectators who made the night such a success. You can see more pictures from the event on our photos page.
12.7.14 - Fantastic work by the crew who responded to the medical alarm call at Westerleigh Housing today! Tunxis Hose Captain Paul Krause, FF/EMT Kelly McCalmont, FF/EMT Nick D'Adabbo, Farmington Police, AMR, and Uconn Paramedics successfully activated the chain of survival on a cardiac arrest bringing back positive pulses after their patient went into full arrest.
11.17.14 - The results are in! Tunxis Hose Company No. 1 elected its chiefs and officers for the next two year term this evening. Congratulations to those who have been elected to new terms as officers and a big thanks to those who have completed terms as officers.
