2.26.15 - Firefighters: 65 - Teachers: 78!
Firefighters from Tunxis Hose along with firefighters from Farmington Fire, East Farmington Fire, and the Town of Farmington put up quite a fight against the teachers of West District Upper Elementary in a fundraising basketball game this evening. Hosted by the Exchange Club of Farmington, $1000 was raised and presented to the Town of Farmington to be put towards the Live Fire Training Facility. Thank you to the members of The Exchange Club and to all the players and spectators who made the night such a success. You can see more pictures from the event on our photos page.
12.7.14 - Fantastic work by the crew who responded to the medical alarm call at Westerleigh Housing today! Tunxis Hose Captain Paul Krause, FF/EMT Kelly McCalmont, FF/EMT Nick D'Adabbo, Farmington Police, AMR, and Uconn Paramedics successfully activated the chain of survival on a cardiac arrest bringing back positive pulses after their patient went into full arrest.
11.17.14 - The results are in! Tunxis Hose Company No. 1 elected its chiefs and officers for the next two year term this evening. Congratulations to those who have been elected to new terms as officers and a big thanks to those who have completed terms as officers.
